Rushbelle

Terms of Service

Last updated October 27, 2026

Welcome to Rushbelle. These Terms of Service (the "Terms") are an agreement between you and Rushbelle ("we," "us," or "our") governing your use of the Rushbelle mobile app and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. About Rushbelle

Rushbelle is a research and planning tool for sorority recruitment ("Rush"). School Search needs no account and no subscription. Favs, Community (meetups, connections, and messaging), and your profile come with an account and need no subscription. Rush Prep is open to everyone with the app. Chat with your Big and Rush Prep's premium outputs (the Big's résumé draft and PDF, and practice feedback beyond the starter session) are included with Rushbelle Pro, a paid monthly subscription, or, for Chat with your Big, with a one-time question pack (see Section 6). Rushbelle is an independent service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the National Panhellenic Conference (NPC), any sorority or fraternity, or any college or university. Chapter and school names are used for identification and research only.

2. Your account

You must be at least 13 to create an account. Rushbelle is built for college-bound and college women. Meetups and submitting a Bid Day photo to be featured are for members 18 and older; the first time you use one, we ask your birth month and year. Tell us the truth about your age; we rely on it. You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your login secure. Please give us accurate information and keep it current. You may delete your account at any time from Me > Settings, which permanently removes your profile, photo, saved items, connections, and messages from our servers. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or our Community Guidelines.

3. Content you provide

You own the content you post in Rushbelle — your profile, meetups, messages, suggestions, and contributions ("Your Content"). Rushbelle does not host reviews or ratings of chapters. By posting, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and share Your Content within the Service so it works as intended. You are solely responsible for Your Content and confirm you have the right to share it. Don't post anything false, harassing, hateful, or that infringes someone else's rights. See our Community Guidelines. Rushbelle is a neutral host for content created by its users: we do not create, endorse, verify, or guarantee the accuracy of user content, and any reliance you place on it is at your own risk. We have the right, but not the obligation, to monitor, screen, edit, or remove any content at our discretion, and whether or not we do so does not make us responsible for it. Rushbelle is also not responsible for your interactions or disputes with other users; if you have a dispute with another user, you release Rushbelle from any claims and damages arising out of it.

4. Chat with your Big and other AI features

Chat with your Big, voice-practice feedback, and the Rush résumé draft are generated by an artificial-intelligence model run by our AI processing provider, Anthropic. Before your first use we ask your permission and show you exactly what is sent (the question you type, the transcript your phone makes of your practice answer, or the résumé facts you enter, together with the verified data for schools you have hearted). We never send your name, email, or account ID. You can turn AI features off at any time in Me > Settings > Consents & Privacy. AI answers can be wrong or out of date. They are general information from Rushbelle, not advice from any school, Panhellenic council, sorority, or professional, and school-specific details should always be confirmed with that school’s Panhellenic. Do not use the Big to ask about, describe, or discuss a specific person; she will decline. To improve the Big, we keep the questions people ask with no link to any account (see the Privacy Policy, Section 4).

5. Your Rush is yours: no advice on houses, and you take responsibility for your choices

Rushbelle is information, not advice, and Rushbelle is neutral: all chapters are equal in our eyes. We run no popularity contest, we do not judge, rate, rank, tier, or compare chapters, and we give no opinion of any chapter. Rushbelle, including the Big, never recommends which chapters to list, rank, prefer, accept, or drop, and never predicts, promises, or guarantees that you will receive an invitation or a bid. Anything in the app — verified school and chapter data, the handbook, the Big’s replies, trends, member contributions, meetups, and messages — is general information that can be incomplete, out of date, or wrong, and every school, Panhellenic council, and chapter has the final say on its own process. BY USING RUSHBELLE YOU AGREE THAT YOU, AND ONLY YOU, ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR EVERY CHOICE YOU MAKE DURING YOUR RUSH AND AS A POTENTIAL NEW MEMBER, INCLUDING WHETHER AND WHERE TO REGISTER, HOW YOU LIST YOUR PREFERENCES, WHETHER YOU SIGN THE MRABA, WHETHER YOU ACCEPT OR DECLINE A BID, WHETHER YOU WITHDRAW, AND WHAT YOU SPEND. RUSHBELLE IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CHOICES ANY GIRL MAKES DURING HER SEASON OF RUSH BASED ON HER USE OF THIS APP, OR FOR THE OUTCOME OF ANY RECRUITMENT. Talk to your Rho Gamma, your Panhellenic, and the people who love you; the decision is always yours.

6. Rushbelle Pro and question packs

Rushbelle Pro is an auto-renewing monthly subscription that includes Rush Prep's premium outputs and a monthly allowance of Chat with your Big questions, voice-practice feedback, and résumé drafts; the current allowance is shown in the app before you buy. Question packs are one-time purchases of additional Big questions that do not expire. Prices are shown in the app and charged by Apple to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Pro renews automatically each month at the same price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; manage or cancel it in your device’s Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. Allowances reset on the first of each month and unused allowance does not carry over. School Search never requires a purchase.

7. Community, meetups, and messaging

Community features let members connect by username or add code and send direct messages to accepted connections. Members 18 and older can also plan and join meetups. Rushbelle does not screen, vet, or supervise members or meetups and is not responsible for what happens at them. Use good judgment: meet in public places, tell someone where you are going, and never share financial information or your address in a message. Messages are private between the people in the conversation; Rushbelle staff may review a message only when it is reported, and may remove content or members that violate our Community Guidelines. You can block anyone, report any message or meetup, and leave any conversation at any time. Messages are never used to train or inform the AI Big.

8. Helping other members (contributions)

After Bid Day, Rushbelle may invite you to share what you wish you had known about Rush at your school. Sharing is optional. If you do, you grant Rushbelle a perpetual, royalty-free license to use what you share, combined with other members’ contributions and without your name, username, or photo, to inform the Big and other Rushbelle features. Contributions are moderated: anything that names or describes a specific person, ranks or disparages a specific chapter, or breaks our Community Guidelines is removed. Because contributions are combined and de-identified, they cannot be withdrawn individually once published, but deleting your account removes the link between you and anything you shared. If you choose to share your Bid Day result, you allow Rushbelle to include it, de-identified and combined with other members’ results, in totals shown in the app and in Rushbelle’s reporting. Bid Day photos: Rushbelle never uploads or posts your Bid Day Selfie unless you submit it. If you are 18 or older and choose to submit a photo to be featured, you give Rushbelle a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to post it on Rushbelle’s social media accounts and in the app. You confirm that you took the photo or have the right to share it, and that everyone shown is 18 or older and agreed to be featured. We may decline to post any photo. Ask us at any time and we will take down a photo of you that we posted.

9. Copyright and DMCA policy

Rushbelle respects intellectual property rights and expects you to do the same. If you believe content on Rushbelle infringes a copyright you own or control, send a written notice to our designated copyright agent at support@rushbelle.com that includes: (1) your physical or electronic signature; (2) identification of the copyrighted work you claim was infringed; (3) identification of the material you believe is infringing and enough detail for us to locate it in the app; (4) your contact information (name, address, phone, and email); (5) a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and (6) a statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf. When we receive a valid notice, we will remove or disable access to the material and notify the user who posted it. If you believe your content was removed by mistake, you may send a counter-notification to the same address. We reserve the right to remove content and, consistent with our repeat-infringer policy, to suspend or terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe.

10. Data sources and accuracy

Rushbelle is a data reference, not a review site: it carries no reviews, ratings, or rankings of chapters, and no opinion of any chapter. The information in the app — costs, dues, deadlines, chapter sizes, GPAs, requirements, and chapter details — is described in our Sources & Accuracy disclosure, which is part of these Terms: Rushbelle is an independent information directory. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any university, the National Panhellenic Conference (NPC), any sorority or fraternity, or any Panhellenic or governing council. Every figure in the app is compiled, to the best of our ability, from information published by the schools themselves and their official Panhellenic or governing councils. We work to verify each fact against an official source before publishing it. Even so, the information is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. It may be incomplete, out of date, reflect a prior recruitment year where the current year has not yet been published, or contain errors. Costs, dues, dates, chapter sizes, GPAs, requirements, and other details change frequently and without notice. Where current-year data is not yet available, we may display the most recent prior year and label it as such. Nothing in the app is a guarantee of a chapter’s status, availability, cost, or outcome. Always confirm important details — especially financial figures and recruitment dates — directly with the university, its Panhellenic office, or the individual chapter before relying on them. Rushbelle is not liable for decisions made in reliance on this information.

11. The Shop, affiliate links, and FTC disclosure

The Rushbelle Shop and some recommendations in the app contain affiliate links to third-party retailers. When you buy through one of these links, Rushbelle may earn a commission or referral fee at no extra cost to you. This is a paid, material connection between Rushbelle and the retailer, which we disclose to you here in keeping with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising (16 C.F.R. Part 255). We only feature products we believe are genuinely relevant to recruitment and campus life, and earning a commission never changes the price you pay. Purchases, shipping, returns, and customer service are handled by the third-party retailer under their own terms — not by Rushbelle.

12. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the Service. That includes: breaking the law; impersonating others; scraping or harvesting data; uploading malware; interfering with the app's operation or security; or using the Service to harass or harm anyone. We may remove content or restrict access to protect the community.

13. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that information in the app is complete or accurate. Your use of the Service is at your own risk.

14. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rushbelle will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service, including reliance on costs, deadlines, reviews, or other information in the app.

15. Indemnification

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Rushbelle and its officers, employees, contractors, and partners from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) content you post or share through the Service; (b) your use or misuse of the Service; (c) your violation of these Terms, our Community Guidelines, or any applicable law; or (d) your violation of the rights of any third party, including intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or defamation claims. We may assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you, in which case you agree to cooperate with us in asserting any available defenses.

16. Dispute resolution and arbitration

Please read this section carefully — it affects your legal rights. Most concerns can be resolved quickly, so before filing any claim you agree to first contact us at support@rushbelle.com and try to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days. If we can't resolve it, you and Rushbelle agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved by binding, individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules then in effect, rather than in court — except that either party may bring a qualifying claim in small-claims court. Arbitration is handled by a neutral arbitrator and is more informal than a lawsuit; a court can enter judgment on the arbitrator's decision. You and Rushbelle each waive the right to a jury trial and agree that claims may be brought only in an individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any class or representative action. If this class-action waiver is found unenforceable, the rest of this section still applies. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing support@rushbelle.com within 30 days of first accepting these Terms; if you opt out, neither you nor Rushbelle will be bound by the arbitration and class-action-waiver provisions. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, except where the Federal Arbitration Act governs the interpretation and enforcement of this arbitration section.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
